A pilot single for the new audiovisual project of singer, musician and actor Petr Opava. The project opens it´s a new musical era with the extraordinary intersection of metal, trance, electronic and classical music. Moderatorr´s vocal expression is then a combination of growl, rap and Mongolian aliquot singing technique. Although it may seem unlikely, the sound was based on a real human voice, not a computer effect.
In Violator, Petr Opava elaborated and expanded on a melody written by contemporary Czech folk songwriter Jiří Wehle. The original text (the poem The Ghost King) was written by one of Germany’s greatest poets, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. By combining ancient verses with modern rock-electronic music, the singer tries to highlight the constant topicality of the poems and bring these pearls of the classic to contemporary audience. Moderatorr plans to make video clips for most of its tracks. He plans to introduce the new single to listeners every quarter. In the future, he will also perform his first long-playing album, which he will release on vinyl.
